Reading puts your brain to work, and that's an extremely great thing. Those who engage their brains with tasks such as reading, chess, or puzzles could be 2.5 times less likely to develop Alzheimer's illness than those who spend their downtime on less stimulating tasks.


Research recommends that reading can function as a serious stress-buster. One 2009 study by Sussex University scientists showed that analysis may decrease tension by as much as 68 percent. "It really doesn't matter what publication you review, by shedding on your own in a thoroughly immersing book you can get away from the worries and stresses of the everyday globe and invest a while exploring the domain name of the writer's creativity," cognitive neuropsychologist David Lewis told The Telegraph.
